Mumbai – Actress Rasika Dugal revealed that getting back into shape after the festive season was tougher than she’d imagined.

On Instagram, the Mirzapur star posted a series of workout photos showing her working on upper‑body strength. In the caption she joked, “I promise this wasn’t so difficult before 29 ‘healthy’ laddoos,” pairing the post with the hashtags #PostDiwaliWorkout and #BackToTheGrind. The clip showed her in black shorts and a gray tank top, lifting weights and performing push‑ups with determination.

Fans responded quickly. Some teased her with comments about the laddoos, while others praised her “laborious” effort. The online buzz highlighted how the holiday treats can catch even fitness‑focused people off guard.

Earlier that day, Dugal also celebrated a milestone: five years since Mirzapur 2. She shared a video montage of her fierce character Beena Tripathi, adding, “Just Beena things…,” and used the tag #5YearsofMirzapur2. The clip reminded viewers of the show’s iconic scenes and the line “Kaleen Bhaiya ki Dulhan hai hum, koi kuch kahe toh zinda gadhwan dein.”

Mirzapur remains a hit on Amazon Prime, drawing in fans with its gritty storyline and strong performances from the original cast, including Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, and Rasika Dugal. Season 2 kept most of the core actors, adding new faces such as Vijay Varma and Isha Talwar.

For fans of the series and those looking for workout inspiration, Rasika Dugal’s honest post underscores that a festive feast can make a recovery routine a bit more challenging – but perseverance always pays off.
