Mumbai, Oct 10 – On World Mental Health Day, actress Rhea Chakraborty reminded fans that it’s normal to feel vulnerable and not always perfect. She posted an upbeat video on Instagram with fellow actress Fatima Sana Shaikh and Inayat Sood, who is known for Scoop, De De Pyaar De and Tigers. The clip opens with Fatima saying, “It’s okay to fail and it’s okay to not be okay.” Rhea then shared, “It’s okay to be vulnerable, to stay in bed, and to pause from being your perfect self every day.” Inayat added, “It’s okay to give up, to take a break, and to feel unmotivated.” The post read, “It’s ok to not be ok” and tagged the official World Mental Health Day account.
World Mental Health Day, first celebrated in 1992 by the World Federation for Mental Health, aims to boost awareness, education and advocacy around mental well‑being worldwide. The day also highlights the importance of reducing stigma and encouraging people to speak up about their struggles.
In other Gujarati news, Rhea Chakraborty announced on October 3 that she has finally received her passport back after a five‑year hold by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The Bombay High Court ordered the NCB to return the passport, citing no basis to doubt the actress’s intentions. Rhea expressed her relief in a post showing her holding the document, saying, “Patience was my only passport for the past 5 years. Countless battles. Endless hope. Today, I hold my passport again. Ready for my Chapter 2!”
The court granted the return on the condition that Rhea attend every hearing unless exempted by the trial court. She must provide her travel itinerary at least four days before any overseas flight and keep her phone active for prompt communication with investigators. The High Court also directed her to share her mobile number and inform probe agencies upon her return from abroad.
The news comes as Rhea continues to be in the public eye following the 2020 death of co‑star Sushant Singh Rajput, for which she faced legal scrutiny. Despite the pressures, she remains focused on her career and on spreading mental‑health awareness.
