Romantic track ‘Pattuma’ from Vignesh Shivan’s ‘LIK’ released
Chennai – November 28 – Fans of director Vignesh Shivan’s next romance, Love Insurance Kompany, were treated to the release of the film’s lead track, “Pattuma.” The melody, which feels like a love note from a not‑yet‑arrived future, has already sparked excitement.
Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the song carries lyrics penned by Shivan himself and is sung by Anirudh Ravichander and Ananthakrrishnan. The picturisation features Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in a dreamy setting. Seven Screen Studio shared the lyric video and highlighted the tune as “the vibrant Second Punch,” announcing that the full film will debut “this December 18.”
The movie’s release was shifted from an original September 18 launch, then pulled back to October 17 for Deepavali, only to be pushed again because Pradeep Ranganathan’s other film Dude was slated for that date. The drama finally lands on theatres worldwide on the 18th of December.
Pradeep Ranganathan, whose filmography boasts an unblemished string of successes—including the blockbuster Dude—has added another hot title to his already impressive record. Lead actors Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty carry the story, while the supporting cast includes S J Suryah and Gouri Kishen.
Love Insurance Kompany received backing from actress‑turned‑producer Nayanthara, who is also married to Shivan. Earlier in the year, Shivan noted that post‑production had begun, expressing gratitude for the dedication of his crew. He emphasized that the film’s charm stemmed from the combined passion, honesty, and hard work of everyone involved, and that no compromise was accepted in creating an original, fresh cinematic experience.
The technical package is equally compelling, featuring visual flair from cinematographer Ravivarman, music from Anirudh, editing by Pradeep Ragav, and stunts choreographed by the renowned Peter Hein.
