Mumbai, Nov 22 (LatestNewsX) – Television and Bollywood star Ronit Bose Roy announced that he is stepping away from social media to focus on personal growth.
He posted a long message on his platform, letting fans know about the break, which surely tugged at many hearts.
In the note, he said he is striving to find a “new” and improved version of himself, and that means leaving comfort zones and old habits behind.
He added that although it feels daunting, the hiatus is essential.
Ronit clarified that the pause is temporary and he plans to return soon, eventually disabling the comment feature on his Instagram post.
He opened with the quote:
> “Hello, what I’m about to say will come from a place of love, understanding and gentleness. You all know I love you. I scroll, like your posts, comment on your posts and reply to as many DMs as I possibly can. I’m immensely grateful for all that I have received. I cherish everything. Especially the love and respect I’ve received from y’all, which I treasure and hold very close to my heart.”
Then he continued:
> “However, I have reached a place in life where I have to forge a new road ahead for myself and my family. A road which will hopefully lead to a better me as a human being, in relationships and as an actor. This road is one that I haven’t walked on earlier. Leave comfort and old bad habits behind. Jump and live out of the box. Scary… I know… but it needs to be done!”
He also explained that complete digital detachment is a key factor in his mental and spiritual strengthening, helping him uncover the new version of himself (which he hopes will earn your affection). For now, the duration is unclear, and he asks for understanding as he abstains from all online interaction.
Ronit added that he will return once he feels ready.
> “It’s impossible to live away from your love; I’ll be back as soon as personal targets are reached and better habits are acquired and practiced. Please don’t forget me. Love y’all, and God bless y’all,” the post concluded.
On the professional front, Ronit Bose Roy’s most recent work is the mythological‑horror film “Maa,” featuring Bollywood star Kajol.
He also appeared in the TV series “Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan.”
He first rose to prominence as Mihir in “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi” in the mid‑2000s and gained further fame playing Mr. Bajaj opposite Shweta Tiwari in the hit series “Kasautii Zindagii Kay.”
