The movie, which stars Rukmini in the lead role, pushed her boundaries and changed how she sees life and her acting career.

In her emotional note, Rukmini reflected on joining the “Kantara: Chapter 1” team over a year ago. “It has challenged me, taught me, improved the way I approach my craft, and given me a new perspective on life,” she wrote. She saved her biggest thanks for director Rishab Shetty, praising his strong vision and endless energy. “Rishab sir has been the rock of this project,” she said. “Your hard work and leadership have been so inspiring. Thank you for believing in me and guiding me through this journey.”

Rukmini also shouted out the Hombale Films team, including producer Vijay Kiragandur, Chaluve Gowda, Adarsh, and all the behind-the-scenes heroes who made the magic happen.

For those new to it, “Kantara: Chapter 1” comes from Hombale Films and hit theaters recently in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali, and even English. The film’s vibe shines through thanks to composer B. Ajaneesh Loknath’s gripping score, Arvind Kashyap’s stunning cinematography, and Vinesh Banglan’s detailed production design.

As “Kantara: Chapter 1” marks a big step in Rukmini’s career, she’s gearing up for even bigger things. She’ll soon star alongside Rocking Star Yash in the action thriller “Toxic,” and she’s also lined up for a massive project with director Prashanth Neel and Telugu superstar Jr NTR. Fans are buzzing about what’s next for this rising star.
