Mumbai, Nov 17 – Shatrughan Sinha visited Hema Malini in Mumbai to send his well‑wishes for the speedy recovery of his close friend, veteran actor Dharmendra, after the star’s recent health scare.
Sinha came to the meeting with his wife, Poonam, and said on his X (formerly Twitter) account that the pair had come to “meet, greet & God Bless” the legendary actor. “We’re keeping Dharmendra in our prayers,” Sinha wrote, adding that he and his family were checking on the actor’s wellbeing.
Dharmendra, 89, was recently discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. Dr. Rajiv Sharma, who was treating the Bollywood icon, confirmed the actor’s stable condition. “Dharmendra has gone home after receiving the necessary treatment. Everything is in place for him to continue caring for himself at home,” the doctor said. He also urged the public to stop spreading false news and instead pray for Dharmendra’s recovery so he can celebrate his next birthday on a home front.
The 89‑year‑old star had been admitted after reporting breathlessness. While in the hospital, he received visits from his wife Hema and sons Sunny and Bobby Deol, along with several high‑profile Bollywood figures such as Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Govinda.
Dharmendra’s family and friends continue to keep him in their thoughts, hoping for a full recovery.
