Actor Dileep is set to star in his new thriller, D 152, which began filming on Wednesday after a traditional pooja at the Vaikom Mahadeva Temple. The ceremony was a lively gathering of cast, crew, and fans.
During the launch, Dileep turned on the lights of the production and director Tarun Moorthy clapped at the start of the shoot. Jagan Shaji Kailas, the son of veteran filmmaker Shaji Kailas, directs the movie. The film is produced by Sandeep Senan and Alex E. Kurian under the banners of Urvashi Theatres and Kaka Stories. Co‑producers Sangeeth Senan and Nimitha Alex, and executive producer Ralu Subhash Chandran round out the production team.
D 152 promises edge‑of‑your‑seat excitement. Besides Dileep, the cast features Binu Pappu, Vilas Chandran, Ashokan, and Shari. The screenplay and story come from Vibin Balachandran, while Mujeeb Majeed scores the film. Ajay David Kachappilly handles cinematography, and Sooraj E.S. edits the footage. Production designer Santosh Raman, makeup artist Ronax Xavier, and costume designer Sameera Saneesh bring the visual world to life.

Filming will take place in and around Thodupuzha, and the movie will air under the Urvashi Theatres banner. Jagan, who grew up watching his father’s famed movies, follows in his dad’s footsteps—a filmmaker known for blockbusters like Ekalavayan, Aaram Thampuran, and Commissioner.
