Actress Shrenu Parikh Enjoys a Peaceful Kerala Backwaters Retreat

Mumbai, September 2 – Actress Shrenu Parikh recently shared a lovely glimpse of her recent trip to Kerala, where she enjoyed a relaxing escape focused on wellness and nature. She finished her journey with a serene backwaters retreat at Niraamaya Kumarakom, soaking in the calming beauty of Kerala’s famous waterways.

Shrenu described her experience as truly rejuvenating. She wrote, “Last stop in Kerala had to be backwaters! Went to Niraamaya Kumarakom for a lovely retreat! Had the most wonderful time exploring the resort, detoxing with Ayurvedic treatments, feeding the geese (which was therapeutic), planting a tree under our names, visiting the beautiful lily pond at Malarikkal, enjoying a delicious sadya lunch, and experiencing the best shirodhara and meditation classes!”

Known for her lively presence on Indian TV, Shrenu opted for a peaceful getaway filled with Ayurvedic therapies. She highlighted shirodhara, an ancient healing treatment involving warm oil poured on the forehead, as one of her favorite experiences during the retreat.

Set amidst lush greenery and peaceful waters, the actress said these treatments made her feel lighter, happier, and deeply refreshed. Her retreat was not just about treatments—she also engaged in mindful activities like feeding geese, planting a tree, and tasting traditional Kerala Sadya—a sumptuous vegetarian feast served on banana leaves. These activities added a special touch to her wellness journey.

Shrenu called her Kerala trip a perfect blend of relaxation and cultural exploration. She felt the Ayurvedic therapies and the calming environment were exactly what she needed to unwind and recharge her body and mind.

Shrenu Parikh has been a popular name on Indian television for over a decade. She gained fame with her memorable role as Aastha in the hit TV show “Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Ek Baar Phir.” She has also appeared in other well-loved shows like “Dil Boley Oberoi,” “Ek Bhram…Sarvagun Sampanna,” and “Ghar Ek Mandir Kripa Agrasen Maharaj Ki.”

Off-screen, Shrenu is happily married to actor Akshay Mhatre. The couple often shares lovely moments together on social media, charming fans with their chemistry and candid updates.

This Kerala getaway shows how even busy stars like Shrenu Parikh look for moments of peace and wellness. Her trip is a reminder of Kerala’s healing treasures—Ayurveda, stunning waterways, and natural beauty—that help rejuvenate both body and mind.
