Shubhangi Atre, the Mumbai actress famous for playing Angoori Bhabhi on the hit sitcom “Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain,” said she keeps her busy acting schedule and her life as a single mom in line.
In a chat with , the friend‑of‑all‑to‑object‑says that juggling work and parenting is tough, but she gets through it by staying present at the moment. “It’s not easy at all,” she told reporters. “I handle finances, home stuff, and my daughter alone. Some days feel overwhelming, but I take it one day at a time and give 100 % whether I’m on set or at home.”
Her daughter, Ashi, is the sole child of the former couple, Shubhangi and ex‑husband Peeyush Poorey. The actress said that making a name in the competitive world of Indian television is hard. “Competition is everywhere,” she said. “I focus on improving myself instead of comparing. Opportunities come, but you have to be ready to grab them.”
Atre believes that while luck can open a door, hard work keeps you inside. “Luck opens the door, but the key is your dedication,” she added. “You see people get lucky once, but only those who stay consistent grow.”
Right now, the actress looks for roles that challenge her and have meaningful impact. “My ambition is to play parts that push me as an actor,” she said. “I love my craft and I want my daughter to see that with determination, you can manage everything and still chase your dreams.”
Shubhangi Atre’s story shows that even in the cut‑throat entertainment industry, a single mother can balance family and career, staying driven and ready for the next opportunity.
