Mumbai, Dec 7 (LatestNewsX) – Subhash Ghai told the press that he was delighted to be welcomed into Madhuri Dixit’s home for a dinner that also featured a handful of well‑known personalities. The director posted a photo montage of the night to Instagram and added his own reflection:
“Last eve It was so different dinner party hosted by ram madhuri dixit at home I interacted with old friends from different fields like #harsh Goenka #mr n mrs nishit desai n other profound guests. (sic)”
Ghai went on to thank Madhuri, her husband Dr Shriram Nene, and the entire gathering for a memorable outing. He added:
“My daughter Meghna ghai puri loved Madhuri house decor . Thank u madhuri n dr ram nene for such a warmth (folded hand emojis). Stay blessed always (folded hand emojis) love. SG (folded hand emojis)”
The filmmaker and the actress have enjoyed a long‑standing friendship and working partnership. Their first collaboration came in the 1989 drama Ram Lakhan, which was a turning point for Madhuri’s career and cemented Ghai as one of Bollywood’s top directors. Four years later, he reunited them in Khalnayak (1993), again highlighting Madhuri’s talent and further elevating her status in the industry.
Madhuri is now preparing to step back onto the silver screen in Mrs Deshpande, a thriller directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. The film also stars Siddharth Chandekar and Priyanshu Chatterjee, and is produced by Applause Entertainment in partnership with Kukunoor Movies. It serves as the Hindi version of the French suspense La Mante.
