Veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai opened up about a special moment from his career on Instagram, reminiscing about working with a four‑year‑old Ranbir Kapoor. The post shows a childhood snapshot of Kapoor in the song “Pyar Ki Ganga Bahe,” a track from a film directed by Ghai in the early 1990s. Ghai wrote that the little boy he once directed has grown into a mature, loving husband, father, and one of Bollywood’s finest actors, “a true gentleman like his mother Neetu Singh.”
Ghai also shared that he saw Kapoor again at Whistling Woods during the “Celebrate Cinema” event. The young actor told the crowd that he hopes to coach students at the film school, and Ghai praised him for his talent, humility, and strong family values.
The post struck a chord with fans of both the veteran director and the rising star. Subhash Ghai has long admired Ranbir Kapoor’s work, and the actor’s recent projects keep his name in the spotlight. Kapoor is set to appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film “Love & War,” alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. He also has “Ramayana: Part 1” on the horizon, where he will play the hero Lord Ram.
Fans can expect to see both filmmakers in action soon, as Bollywood continues to celebrate their contributions to Indian cinema.
