Sumbul said her character Anvita will show that love is more than affection and togetherness. It is about setting healthy limits, planning ahead and finding what’s best for everyone involved. “People often think true love means giving everything up,” she said. “Anvita’s choice shows that saying ‘no’ can protect a family and keep the love strong.”

In the series, Anvita discovers she matches her ailing father’s liver. Instead of a transplant, she opts not to give her liver. She explains the move is not mean or angry but a careful decision that keeps her healthy for her siblings. “I know a transplant won’t change him. I’d rather stay healthy so I can look after my family,” she shared. Her plot invites viewers to rethink sacrifice and understand love as responsibility.

Itti Si Khushi airs Monday through Saturday on Sony SAB. The show breaks the stereotype of women who silently sacrifice every day. Anvita’s defiant stance and long‑term thinking spark fresh questions about duty, personal boundaries and true love.

With its relatable story and relatable heroine, Itti Si Khushi aims to keep audiences connected to the everyday truth that love sometimes means protecting those we care about, even when it feels opposite to sacrifice.
