Bollywood star Sunny Deol spread some festive cheer on Dussehra by sharing a warm message on social media. The actor urged fans to ditch negativity and embrace kindness, courage, and compassion during the celebrations.
On Thursday, Sunny posted on his Instagram Stories: “Happy Dussehra, this Dussehra, lets burn away the negativity within us and light up with kindness, courage, and compassion. #HappyDussehra.” Plenty of other celebrities jumped in too, sending Dussehra wishes to their followers on this special Hindu festival.
Right now, Sunny’s in Delhi for his nephew’s wedding, and he kept things fun by posting a lively video of his road trip. In the clip, the Gadar actor drives along the highway, chatting excitedly in Punjabi about heading to the family event. He captioned it: “Main nikla gaddi leke, next stop: Delhi.” Sunny mentioned how thrilled he is to reunite with his parents and the whole family for the big wedding bash.
Fans have a lot to look forward to from Sunny on the work front. He’s starring in the highly anticipated action-war drama Border 2, set to hit theaters on January 22, 2026. The sequel boasts a star-studded cast with Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, Medha Rana, Mona Singh, and Sonam Bajwa. Anurag Singh directs the film, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta. It’s presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, in partnership with J.P. Dutta’s J.P. Films.
While the original Border from 1997 captured the Battle of Longewala in the 1971 war, this new chapter draws inspiration from the 1999 Kargil War, promising more intense drama and heroism.
