Taylor Swift, the Grammy‑winning pop icon, has just released the official trailer for her upcoming film “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show,” which will stream on Disney + from December 12. The movie will bring the full concert experience from her last stop in Vancouver, and for the first time, it will feature the entire set of “The Tortured Poets Department,” a new act added to the tour after the April 2024 album release.
On Instagram, Swift teased fans with the caption, “Just 11 days until the final show of The Eras Tour is all yours. The Final Show now featuring THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT on @disneyplus beginning December 12.” In the trailer she says, “We’ve had so long to prepare for the end of this tour and we get to play one last show for you here tonight,” while singing “Long Live,” as reported by Variety. She also expressed her gratitude, stating, “I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date.”
Alongside the film, Swift will launch the first two episodes of her six‑part documentary series “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era,” also premiering December 12. The series promises an intimate look at her world‑tour, featuring opening acts like Gracie Abrams and Sabrina Carpenter, as well as guests such as Ed Sheeran and Florence Welch. After the initial release, two additional pairs of episodes will drop in the following weeks.
“Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era” is directed by Don Argott, co‑directed by Sheena M. Joyce, and produced by Object & Animal. Meanwhile, “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show” is directed by Glenn Weiss and produced by Taylor Swift Productions in partnership with Silent House Productions.
