Mumbai, September 6 – Actor Teja Sajja is getting ready for the release of his exciting new film, ‘Mirai’. This action-packed adventure is a pan-India project, and Teja describes it as a story about a young boy from Charminar in Hyderabad who doesn’t realize his own legacy.
During a chat with in Mumbai, Teja shared that when he first heard about ‘Mirai’, he knew it was a big, ambitious film. Despite certain limitations, the team was determined to make it happen. “We traveled to different places to create the visuals we wanted because we couldn’t just rely on multiple sets,” he said. This shows how much effort went into making the movie visually stunning.
Teja also mentioned that action adventure films are quite rare in Telugu cinema and Indian films overall. “That’s what made this project so exciting for me,” he added.
The story follows a boy from Charminar who doesn’t yet know about his connection to an ancient universe set up by King Ashoka centuries ago. As the story unfolds, he embarks on a journey to discover his true purpose, understand his dharma, and prevent a looming catastrophe. The film also explores how ancient Indian stories or itihasas hold the answers to facing modern challenges.
‘Mirai’ is being presented by Bollywood star Karan Johar for North India. The film is produced by People Media Factory and is set to release worldwide on September 12, 2025. Fans are eagerly waiting to see how this unique action adventure unfolds on the big screen.
