Teja Sajja Reveals Shooting Secrets of His Epic Film ‘Mirai’
Actor Teja Sajja is all excited about his upcoming fantasy action adventure movie ‘Mirai’, where he plays the powerful Super Yodha character. This superhero has to safeguard ancient scriptures in a thrilling story full of adventure. During promotions at a fancy 5-star hotel in Mumbai, Teja chatted with and spilled the beans on where the ‘Mirai’ team shot the film.
"We filmed ‘Mirai’ in the stunning Himalayas, beautiful Nepal, bustling Bangkok, and right here in Mumbai," Teja shared with a big smile. "We traveled so much that I can’t even remember all the spots! It was an incredible journey."
But shooting in such diverse and challenging locations wasn’t easy. When asked about the tough parts, especially in the mountains, Teja opened up about the real struggles. "It was super difficult—not just the mountains, but every single location was authentic and real," he explained. "We hiked for hours with no roads or vehicles in sight. Sometimes, we’d walk kilometers just to capture that perfect shot and make it look amazing. Yeah, it tested us big time!"
Teja also gave a shoutout to Bollywood bigwig Karan Johar, who’s now presenting ‘Mirai’ for the north India market. "Karan sir loved the teaser and glimpses so much," Teja said gratefully. "At first, his team wanted to just distribute the film, but after watching the full movie, he decided to present it. I’m so thankful to him. He saw all our hard work and the challenges we faced despite our limitations. He was surprised and wanted to give us a bigger platform to showcase our talent and the film."
