Fans of the hit spy thriller “The Family Man” are buzzing after star Manoj Bajpayee dropped a big hint about Season 3. The series, created by Raj & DK, first streamed in 2018 and quickly became a cult favorite. It follows Srikant Tiwari, played by Bajpayee, a regular middle-class guy who leads a double life as a secret intelligence officer for the fictional Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), part of India’s National Investigation Agency. In his caption, Bajpayee wrote: “6 years since #TheFamilyMan Season 1 dropped and became a cult classic. Season 3? Bas samajh lo, operation underway…”

The show boasts a strong cast, including Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar, Neeraj Madhav, Sharib Hashmi, Dalip Tahil, Sunny Hinduja, and Shreya Dhanwanthary. For Season 2, Samantha Ruth Prabhu joined as the main villain, marking her exciting entry into streaming under director Suparn S. Verma’s guidance for parts of the season.

In Season 2, Srikant steps away from TASC to focus on his family and takes a job in the private sector. But a tough new threat pulls him back into action, as he battles a sneaky alliance between an old enemy and a hidden group of foreign militants.

Bajpayee has been keeping busy with fresh projects. His latest is the gripping series “Inspector Zende,” where he plays the lead detective. It also features Jim Sarbh as Carl Bhojraj, a chilling character drawn from the real-life serial killer Charles Sobhraj. The cast rounds out with Sachin Khedekar, Girija Oak, and Bhalchandra Kadam.

He’s also starring in the upcoming film “Jugnu,” directed by Raam Reddy. Set in the late 1980s amid the stunning Indian Himalayas, it centers on Dev, who uncovers eerie burnt trees across his family’s vast fruit orchard. As mysterious fires keep igniting despite his best efforts to stop them, Dev starts seeing his life and loved ones in a whole new way.
