In Chennai on November 18, actor‑director Pradeep Ranganathan surprised his long‑time friend and fellow filmmaker Ramesh Narayanasamy with a brand‑new car. The gift made the news after Ramesh posted a clip on Instagram that has already gone viral.
In the video, Pradeep hands the keys to Ramesh while smiling and saying, “My gift to you for your loyalty. It’s a small one. Extraordinary work. It’s just the beginning—there’s a long way ahead. Thank you so much! I love you.” Ramesh replied emotionally: “My first car from my Nanban… Not just a gift, but a symbol of trust, belief, and the journey we’ve shared. Ramesh co‑directed the hit film Dragon with Ashwath Marimuthu, which opened in February this year and became a blockbuster.
