Jennifer Lopez told hosts on Watch What Happens Live that she’s “done” talking about her personal life. When Andy Cohen asked about her breakup with Alex Rodriguez, the singer shrugged and said she prefers to stay out of the tabloids.
The comment sparked a lively debate on The View, where co‑host Ana Navarro said the singer can’t keep every romance under wraps.
“We’re not seeing questions about her first marriage to Ojani Noa, the Cuban waiter from Miami, or her early dance partner. But she’s dating big‑name stars—Ben Affleck, Marc Anthony, and now Alex Rodriguez. People expect to know something,” Navarro said. She even joked that Lopez should “go back to an unknown, anonymous, gorgeous, young man” if she wants privacy.
The Watch What Happens Live episode aired Wednesday night, October 15. In a rare break from discussing family, Cohen dug into a Franklin‑type rumor that Rodriguez’s alleged text exchanges with Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy may have helped end their engagement. Lopez finally answered, “I really have nothing to say about my personal life anymore.”
The singer’s love life has seen four marriages and two children. She wed Ojani Noa in 1997, but the marriage lasted only a year. She next married Cris Judd (2001‑2003) then long‑time partner Marc Anthony (2004‑2014). With Anthony, she has twin daughters. In 2021, Lopez ended her relationship with Rodriguez, a former New York Yankee. The next week, she re‑ignited a romance with Ben Affleck, whom she dated in the early 2000s and married in 2022. That marriage ended two years later.
The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. Eastern on ABC and continues to trigger TV‑talk‑show style laughter and debate as it covers celebrity gossip and hits the headlines.
