Their romance kicked off in October 2023, but sparks flew earlier that February when the 67-year-old Burton and 60-year-old Bellucci shared a sweet kiss on a Valentine’s Day stroll in Santa Monica, California. “I’m glad I met the man,” she gushed at the time. “It’s one of those rare encounters in life. During their time as a couple, they teamed up professionally for the first time in Burton’s 2024 hit film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Their last public outing? A romantic moment at the 71st Taormina Film Festival on June 14, where Burton planted a tender kiss on Bellucci’s cheek for the cameras.
Before Burton, Bellucci was married to actor Vincent Cassel from 1999 to 2013. They share two daughters: Deva, 21, and Léonie, 15. She also dated artist Nicolas Lefebvre until 2019.
As for Burton, he was in a long-term relationship with actress Helena Bonham Carter from 2001 to 2014. They met on the set of Planet of the Apes and collaborated on classics like Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Sweeney Todd. The exes have two kids: son Billy, 21, and daughter Nell, 17.
