Tom Holland is bouncing back after a setback on the set of his latest Spider-Man movie. The actor, best known for swinging into action as the web-slinger, gave fans a positive update on Instagram while shouting out a recent charity gala.
In his post, Holland shared that he’s "feeling better and on the mend" from the injury that forced him to dip out of the event early. He praised his mom and her friends for organizing the star-studded night, which raised money for great causes. "What a night! Another huge success," he wrote. "This trust means more to me than I could possibly say… A huge thanks to my Dad for taking over after I left. The show got considerably funnier."
The injury happened on September 19, 2025, when a stunt went awry during filming of Spider-Man: Brand New Day at Leavesden Studios in the UK. Holland suffered a mild concussion, leading producers to pause shooting on September 22. Good news for fans: Cameras roll again on September 29, and the delay won’t push back the film’s big-screen debut on July 31, 2026.
Holland first suited up for the project back on August 10, when Sony dropped a behind-the-scenes video from the Glasgow set. Dressed as Spider-Man, he tackled an explosive stunt with a tank and chatted about the thrill of it all. "Putting the suit on, it feels different this time, somehow," he said. "It’s also the first time we ever had fans on set day one, so it’s really exciting to share this with them."
He added with a laugh, "We’ve got some familiar faces on set. I’m just going to do my best, hopefully get it right, no pressure." As production ramps up again, Marvel fans can’t wait to see Holland back in action as the friendly neighborhood hero.
