Mumbai, Oct 20 – Actress Urvashi Rautela shares that Diwali isn’t just about sparkling lights and fancy décor. For her, the festival is a chance to spend time with the people who truly matter.
“I celebrate Diwali with family and with my film friends,” she says. “When I’m home, it’s a warm, grateful time that keeps me connected to my roots. When I’m with my colleagues, it’s a celebration of creativity and shared dreams. Both sides add their own glow, and together they make Diwali special for me.”
Urvashi keeps several family traditions alive. She lights diyas with her loved ones, bows in prayer, and thanks everyone for the past year. Even before heading out for the big industry parties, the “Great Grand Masti” star starts her day at home, savoring moments with the people who shaped her journey.
She says Diwali’s true essence lies in reconnecting with family. Although the festival schedule can be hectic, she makes sure she spends time cooking festive meals, decorating the house, and performing the Lakshmi puja with close ones.
On the film side, Urvashi enjoys Diwali parties within Bollywood. These gatherings feel like a workshop where creatives come together, share goals, and celebrate milestones. “The warmth from friends and colleagues adds a different sparkle to the season,” she adds.
Career-wise, the star is busy in several upcoming projects. She’ll appear in Kamal Haasan’s highly anticipated sequel Indian 3, directed by S Shankar. She’s also roped in for Kasoor 2 opposite Aftab Shivdasani and Jassie Gill, and she’s set to star in Baap with Sunny Deol and Sanjay Dutt, Inspector Avinash 2 with Randeep Hooda, and the thriller Black Rose.
Urvashi’s Diwali message is simple: blend family love and creative collaboration, and you’ll light up the holiday.
