According to reports, the “Arjun Reddy” star was on a trip with his family to visit the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Maha Samadhi in Puttaparthi. On the return leg, his Lexus LM350 was struck from behind by another car on the Hyderabad‑Bengaluru highway in Telangana’s Jogulamba Gadwal district. The other vehicle didn’t stop after the collision. Luckily, Vijay was unharmed and continued the drive in a friend’s car.

Vijay’s driver has filed a formal complaint and police are investigating the incident. Fans saw the actor greet the Puttaparthi management with a bouquet, and a photo of him with a photo of Sathya Sai Baba went viral. Eye‑catchers noticed a ring on his hand, sparking speculation that Vijay might be engaged.

Word has it that the “Dear Comrade” actor and actress Rashmika Mandanna may have had a private engagement ceremony. Neither has spoken publicly, but insiders say a wedding could be planned for February next year.
