Vishnu Vishal, the star and producer of the upcoming thriller “Aaryan,” revealed that a romantic lip‑lock scene had been removed after actress Maanasa Choudhary asked the director to pull it. The actor pointed out that the scene was part of a song in the film but, when Maanasa raised her concerns, the producers listened and cut the footage. “We respect her perspective and it’s important to support women in cinema,” Vishul said at a press event in Chennai.
The film, a police‑procedural action story, follows detective Selvaraghavan as he hunts a serial killer who names his victims an hour before the crime. Vishnu Vishal plays the lead cop, a character he has portrayed before in the hit “FIR.” The cast also includes Shraddha Srinath, Maanasa Choudhary, Sai Ronak and others.
“Aaryan” is being produced by Vishnu Vishal Studioz with co‑producer Shubhra Ramesh. Director Praveen K helmed the shoot, with cinematography by Harish Kannan and music by Sam CS. The movie was cleared by the censor board and is set to hit Indian theatres on 31 October.
The release follows a trailer that shows a tense showdown between the killer and the police, promising a gripping thriller. Fans can expect a mix of action, suspense and investigative drama from this new entry in Tamil cinema.
