Massive Set for ‘Kishkindhapuri’ Horror Thriller Costs Makers a Huge 2 Crore

Chennai’s buzzing with excitement over the upcoming horror-thriller Kishkindhapuri, directed by Koushik Pegallapati and starring Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran. The film’s makers just dropped a big reveal: they spent a whopping 2 crore rupees to build an impressive set for shooting key scenes. Producer Sahu Garapati from Shine Screens shared this fun fact during a chat with the media, confirming reports about the massive construction.

"We poured almost 2 crores into creating that set, and it took our team a full month to put it all together," Sahu Garapati told reporters. "Get ready for some real shock moments that’ll have you on the edge of your seat," he added with a grin.

Sahu Garapati went on to say that Kishkindhapuri feels like a Hollywood blockbuster, thanks to its top-notch technical wizardry. And here’s the best part: the Censor Board loved it! Officials watched the film and didn’t demand a single cut. "They called it super engaging and praised how good it is," the producer revealed.

For those new to the hype, Kishkindhapuri hits theaters on September 12 this year. Shine Screens has a clear warning out there: kids and anyone with a faint heart should skip this one—it’s not for the easily spooked! The movie has already sparked massive buzz among fans and movie lovers. A recent trailer release has only cranked up the anticipation.

So, what’s the trailer all about? It kicks off by describing Kishkindhapuri as a creepy spot haunted by powerful evil spirits. Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran play tour guides leading a group of spirit-curious folks on a ghostwalking adventure. They think it’s just another routine tour, but things quickly turn terrifying for everyone involved. Anupama starts worrying about the group’s safety, while Bellamkonda steps up to promise protection. The real story unfolds as he battles the mighty spirit— that’s the heart-pounding core of Kishkindhapuri.

Just a quick update: the team recently announced that Anupama Parameswaran has wrapped up her dubbing work for the film. If you’re into horror thrillers with big stars like Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran, this one’s shaping up to be a must-watch. Keep an eye out for more Kishkindhapuri updates as the release date approaches!
