Netflix has rolled out a fresh trailer for The Witcher Season 4, showing the new face behind Geralt of Rivia. Liam Hemsworth replaces Henry Cavill in the role, and the season drops on October 30.

In the clip, Hemsworth’s Geralt rallies a mismatched crew of adventurers to hunt down his former apprentice, Ciri (Freya Allan). The team includes the sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg (Anya Chalotra), the bard Jaskier (Joey Batey), newcomer Regis (Laurence Fishburne) and others, all set to battle the dark powers of Vilgefortz (Mahesh Jadu).

The trailer shows Geralt slicing through soldiers, a giant ogre‑like beast and a wraith, setting the tone for a season full of action and dark twists. A haunting line in the footage hints at change and rebirth, suggesting a smooth transition as Hemsworth steps into the iconic role after Cavill’s exit in 2022.

Netflix shared the trailer on its Instagram page, sparking excitement among fans. The season’s logline promises that after the continental upheaval of Season 3, Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri are pulled apart by war and enemies. Their separate paths intersect with new allies, and they may find a way back together—just in time for the final Season 5.

Key cast members besides the leads include Eamon Farren, Anna Shaffer, Mimi M Khayisa, Cassie Clare, and many others who bring depth to this fantasy saga. Fans of the series can expect a mix of familiar faces and fresh talent as The Witcher gears up for its next chapter.
