India Set to Showcase Strength in Medical Technology at MedTech Expo 2025

New Delhi, September 2 — The Indian government is gearing up for the second edition of the India MedTech Expo 2025, a major event that highlights India’s growing strength in medical technologies. Organized by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, this three-day expo will run from September 4 to 6 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, as part of the larger Bharat Health 2025 initiative.

This event aims to put India on the global map as a leading hub for affordable and innovative medical devices. The India MedTech Expo is a prominent platform where policymakers, global business leaders, startups, investors, and healthcare experts come together to showcase India’s capabilities.

Themed ‘India: Global MedTech Manufacturing Hub, Precision Engineering Yet Affordable,’ the expo will feature a wide range of exhibits. Visitors can explore startups, MSMEs, research institutions, and government initiatives dedicated to medical technology.

In addition to exhibitions, the event will hold conferences, CEO roundtables, fireside chats, and sessions focusing on different Indian states. These gatherings will give attendees opportunities for networking, including B2B meetings, buyer-seller exchanges, and regulator open houses—all designed to promote collaboration across the MedTech industry.

India’s medical device market has grown rapidly, reaching nearly $15 billion, and is expected to double to $30 billion by 2030. With over 800 MedTech startups and strong research and manufacturing capabilities, India is becoming a key player in innovation and exports, not just a consumer of foreign medical tech.

Praveen Kumar Mittal, Executive Director of the Export Promotion Council for Medical Devices, said, “India MedTech Expo 2025 will showcase this remarkable growth story and help forge new partnerships. It’s a chance to boost healthcare access not only in India but worldwide.”

The event expects over 150 international buyers from more than 30 countries, including regions like ASEAN, Africa, CIS, the Middle East, and Oceania. This offers a great opportunity for global stakeholders to explore collaborations and investments in India’s booming MedTech sector.

More than 350 exhibitors will display their latest products and innovations across specialized pavilions, making it India’s biggest medical device exhibition to date. Visitors will get to see advanced medical devices, learn about cutting-edge research, and discover new business opportunities.

In summary, the India MedTech Expo 2025 promises to be a milestone event that highlights India’s journey towards becoming a global leader in medical technology, innovation, and exports.
