In a lively outreach event, the Army Recruiting Office (ARO) in Guwahati, working with the Zonal Recruiting Office (ZRO) Shillong, brought excitement to young students about joining the Indian military. This special session targeted 367 students from Golaghat, Darrang, and Hailakandi districts. All of them are part of the AROHAN scheme, a government initiative by the Assam State Government to guide talented kids from secondary classes in government schools.

The event kicked off with a motivational lecture that gave students a real look at life in the Indian Army. It highlighted diverse career options, from combat roles to leadership positions, and stressed key values like discipline, teamwork, and serving the nation.
