Tragic Road Accident in Nellore Claims Six Lives in Horrific Car-Lorry Crash
In a heartbreaking incident, six people lost their lives in a devastating road accident near Peraman in Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh. The crash happened on Wednesday when a speeding tipper lorry smashed into a car on the national highway, leaving everyone in the vehicle dead on the spot.
Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic. The massive tipper completely crushed the car, trapping the occupants inside. Rescue teams, including police and fire personnel, rushed to the site and used a JCB machine to pull out the wreckage. Despite their efforts, all six victims died instantly from the impact.
The family was heading from Nellore to Pamuru to visit a sick relative when tragedy struck. The deceased include T. Radha (38), T. Srinivasulu (40), Shesham Saramma (40), Balavengayya (45), Challagundla Lakshmi (30), and young Chandu Priya (15). The collision was so severe that the bodies were badly mutilated, making the rescue even more challenging. Authorities finally shifted the remains to Atmakur Government Hospital’s mortuary. Heartbroken relatives arrived at the scene and broke down in tears upon seeing their loved ones.
District Transport Commissioner confirmed the details, saying, "A tipper lorry collided head-on with a car carrying six passengers near Peraman today. All of them died at the spot. We suspect rash and negligent driving by the lorry driver caused this fatal accident."
Local officials hurried to the accident site right after getting the news. Nellore police have started a full investigation into the Nellore road accident to uncover more facts and prevent such tragedies in the future. This shocking incident highlights the dangers of reckless driving on busy highways.
