Bhopal, Nov 22 (LatestNewsX) – the BJP’s Madhya Pradesh unit rolled out a major leadership revamp on Saturday, naming Shyam Tailor as the new head of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) and Ashwini Paranjpe as president of the BJP Mahila Morcha.
The changes were announced by state party chief Hemant Khandelwal, who issued a formal press release and posted on the party’s X account.
Tailor, a young and energetic figure who has been active in the party’s youth wing for more than a decade, takes over from the former BJYM state chief. With a strong grassroots network in western Madhya Pradesh and a key role in the BJP’s digital strategy during the 2023 assembly elections, he has been chosen to galvanise voters under 40 ahead of the upcoming local‑body polls and the 2028 assembly contest.
Paranjpe, a prominent woman leader and practicing advocate, brings a wealth of organisational experience. She served as an ABVP office‑bearer from 2000 to 2014 and later sat on its national executive. A two‑term municipal corporator from Indore, she has been a vocal champion for women’s safety and empowerment. Her appointment comes as the BJP pushes forward women‑centred schemes such as the Ladli Behna Yojana, which helped the party secure a sweeping victory in 2023.
Political analysts see the reshuffle as the BJP’s way of injecting fresh energy into its frontline units while maintaining regional and social balance.
Manoranjan Mishra will take charge of the Morcha wing and oversee its various branches, while Ashutosh Tiwari has been tasked with managing the party’s cells. Jitendra Litoria has been given responsibility for protocol duties across the state unit.
Both Tailor and Paranjpe expressed gratitude to the party leadership and pledged to work toward Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India, placing particular emphasis on youth skill development and women’s participation in nation‑building.
The rapid reorganisation signals that the Madhya Pradesh BJP is already gearing up for the next wave of electoral battles in the Hindi heartland.
