Patna, Oct 20 () — Tension climbs ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections as Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha and Union Minister Nityanand Rai strike back at the Grand Alliance, calling it a broken partnership that ignores Bihar’s growth.
Sinha, who represents Lakhisarai and runs as a BJP candidate, said the coalition shows no honesty and lacks a clear direction. “Their intentions are not clear, and that is why there is so much conflict among them,” he told . “They are a cheating alliance, and we have no interest in them.” Sinha added that a true guardian of democracy must have pure motives and focus on service and development for every citizen. He warned that unclear intentions make the alliance fall apart.
Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai echoed this criticism. He called the RJD‑Congress‑Left bloc “arrogant,” driven only by personal gain and dynastic politics. Speaking to the press in Patna, Rai said the alliance cares more about self‑interest than Bihar’s progress. He slammed the RJD and Congress for nepotism, arguing that corruption and criminal patronage run deep in their political culture.
“Where there is a politics of self‑interest, development gets left behind – and with it, Bihar’s future,” Rai warned. He added that most Biharis already trust Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the NDA’s development model. “The Nitish Kumar‑led NDA government has brought change to every household,” he said confidently. “The people of Bihar want a bright future for their children, and they stand firmly with the NDA. We will return to power with a huge majority.”
The upcoming Bihar Assembly elections will test whether voters back the NDA’s track record or switch to the Grand Alliance’s promise of a new direction.
