In Patna, the Bihar Deputy Chief Minister, Vijay Kumar Sinha, took to the podium on Tuesday to congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 25 years in public service, calling him a “carrier of change” for today’s India.
Sinha highlighted that when Modi entered the civil service in October 2001 he began setting an example of strong, principled leadership. He praised Modi’s 12‑and‑a‑half‑year tenure as Gujarat’s Chief Minister, noting that the “Gujarat model” of all‑round development has drawn national and international attention.
The deputy chief minister named several milestones that set new standards for governance: disaster relief after the 2002 Bhuj earthquake, 100% electrification, welfare programs for farmers and fishermen, world‑class infrastructure, and a business‑friendly climate that attracts investment.
Reflecting on Modi’s 11 years as India’s prime minister, Sinha said the leader has “demonstrated policy‑driven governance with innovative thinking and determination.” He listed key achievements, from revoking Article 370 and launching surgical strikes to sanitation and health campaigns, education reforms, social welfare schemes, the construction of the Ram Temple, financial inclusion, women’s reservation in parliament, the digital revolution, and huge infrastructure projects.
Sinha added that Modi’s leadership inspires confidence, quoting the slogan, “If PM Modi is there, it’s possible.” He praised the prime minister’s simplicity, integrity, and corruption‑free record, stressing that Modi has never been accused of nepotism or bureaucratic red tape.
The deputy chief minister emphasized Modi’s commitment to “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” and noted that the NDA’s records in elections stem from this inclusive model of development. He concluded that under Modi’s direction, India stands as a beacon of hope for the world.
Other BJP leaders in Bihar also joined the applause. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal, Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai, Union Textile Minister Giriraj Singh, and several others offered their congratulations to the prime minister.
