PM Modi’s 75th Birthday: Bihar Celebrates with Rituals, Pledges, and Warm Wishes from Leaders
Bihar buzzed with excitement on Wednesday as people marked Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday with grand celebrations. BJP workers and leaders across India joined in the festivities, but Bihar turned it into a special event full of rituals, cake-cutting, and bold political promises.
In Patna, hundreds of BJP supporters gathered early at Kali Ghat along the Ganga River banks. They waved party flags and carried an oil painting of PM Modi. The group honored him by pouring 75 kg of milk and Ganga water over the painting in a traditional ritual, followed by an aarti. To top it off, they cut a cake while praying for Modi’s long life. The workers even made a big vow: to gift him 225 seats in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections as a birthday surprise.
NDA leaders in Bihar showered PM Modi with heartfelt birthday messages, highlighting his leadership and love for the state. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar led the tributes, saying, "Heartiest congratulations and best wishes to the respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday. Wishing him a healthy and long life."
Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary called PM Modi the ‘Vishwakarma’ of modern India. In his message, he added, "PM Narendra Modi has a special affection for Bihar. He’s a powerhouse of energy, a true karmayogi, and a symbol of determination. He shines like the sun to defeat enemies and soothes the common people like the moon’s cool light."
Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha hailed PM Modi as "the world’s most inspiring leader." He praised how Modi has boosted India’s global image and turned the dream of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ into a nationwide mission.
Union MSME Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, who also leads Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular), celebrated Modi’s wins in defence, economy, and development. "He proves India means what it says," Manjhi noted. "From striking terrorist hideouts in Pakistan to making India the world’s fourth-largest economy, his leadership stands out. Soon, we’ll climb to third place globally. Plus, he’s empowered the poor through initiatives like MSME."
These celebrations show the strong support for PM Modi in Bihar, blending tradition with hopes for the state’s future. As the Bihar Assembly elections approach, such events highlight the NDA’s unity and enthusiasm.
