Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has made an exciting call to action during a workers’ meeting in Sikariya village, Patna district. He received a warm welcome from local party workers and used the platform to talk about Bihar’s ongoing development and future plans.

Nitish Kumar highlighted the remarkable progress since the NDA government took charge in November 2005. He pointed out improvements in law and order, education, healthcare, roads, bridges, and rural infrastructure — all fundamental pillars for Bihar’s growth.

One of the main topics was jobs. The CM proudly shared that since 2020, the Bihar government has provided over 10 lakh government jobs and 39 lakh employment opportunities for youth. He also announced that these numbers are expected to cross 50 lakh before the upcoming 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. Looking ahead, he set an ambitious target of creating 1 crore (10 million) jobs in the next five years.

Talking about social security, Nitish Kumar said the government has increased pension amounts from Rs 400 to Rs 1,100, helping over 1.12 crore elderly, disabled, and widows across the state. He also mentioned initiatives like nearly free electricity for all households and plans to install solar panels for those interested, promoting clean energy.

For women entrepreneurs, the government recently launched the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana. Starting this September, each woman in a household will receive Rs 10,000 to start their own business, with additional support of up to Rs 2 lakh for successful ventures.

The CM also announced plans to boost industry in Bihar. Industrialists will be offered free land and incentives to set up new factories, creating more jobs and economic growth.

Nitish Kumar credited the central government for its financial support in various sectors, including roads, flood control, industries, health, and tourism. He mentioned important allocations for projects like the Makhana Board, Western Kosi Canal, and new airports to improve connectivity in Bihar.

In terms of development in Patna, the city is witnessing major projects — including the establishment of IIT-Patna and NIT, expansion of medical colleges, and the redevelopment of Patna Medical College into a world-class hospital with over 5,400 beds. Other hospitals like IGIMS and NMCH are also expanding to serve more patients.

The Chief Minister proudly shared that Bihar is hosting the Khelo India Youth Games for the first time, marking the state’s growing importance at the national level in sports and youth development.

He concluded by urging party workers to spread Bihar’s message of growth and welfare to all residents. “Bihar is moving forward with full support from the Centre, and we will keep up this momentum,” he said.

This entire effort shows Bihar’s commitment to progress, jobs, healthcare, and infrastructure — making the state brighter and better for its people.
