In a swift and dramatic police operation in Delhi, two notorious snatchers were caught after a high-speed chase across the city. The police arrested Parminder Singh, also known as Prince, aged 28, and Amandeep, also called Amanpreet Singh or Golu, aged 36. Both men have a long criminal record, with over 30 serious cases each, including theft and snatching.

The chase happened on August 27 when the police received calls about mobile phone thefts near a school in Sector-10 and a purse snatching in Sector-4. Immediately, a special police team sprang into action, tracking the stolen mobile phones and chasing the suspects across crowded Delhi streets. The police used both official and civilian motorcycles to pursue the criminals, carefully avoiding firing guns to keep the public safe.

Within just 2.5 hours, the police managed to catch Parminder and Amandeep. During the operation, they also recovered seven stolen mobile phones, cash, jewelry, metro cards, the motorcycle used in the crimes, and the clothes the suspects wore during the snatchings.

The arrest was led by a team under the supervision of DCP Dwarka, Ankit Singh, IPS. The team included SI Rajat Malik, ASI Sanjeev Singh Teotia, ASI Kirti Kumar, and several police constables, working closely with the local police station and senior officers.

Police officials confirmed that both accused are involved in multiple crimes across Delhi’s seven districts. They are facing several charges, including theft, robbery, dacoity, and even cases under the Arms Act. Authorities are also working on canceling their bail and further investigations are underway.

Thanks to this quick action, 12 cases of snatching have been solved, and many victims have had their stolen belongings returned. Police believe more crimes could be linked to these two men as investigations continue.

This operation highlights how Delhi Police is working tirelessly to keep the city safe from criminals involved in street crimes like snatching and theft.
