Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde Wishes PM Narendra Modi on 75th Birthday
Mumbai, September 17: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde extended warm birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday today. Shinde praised Modi’s strong leadership over the past 11 years and highlighted how the country has moved forward under his guidance.
Speaking to reporters, Shinde said, "Today marks PM Modi’s 75th birthday, and I send my heartfelt greetings. He’s celebrating by launching the Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan, a key initiative for women’s health and stronger families. In the last 11 years, PM Modi has pushed India towards self-reliance, making the nation Atmanirbhar."
Born on September 17, 1950, Narendra Modi has had an inspiring journey. He joined the RSS officially in 1971, though he connected with the organization at a young age. In 1985, Modi stepped into politics with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He climbed the ranks fast, becoming the party’s General Secretary in 1998. By 2001, he served as Gujarat’s Chief Minister, and in 2014, he took oath as India’s Prime Minister for the first time.
Celebrations for PM Modi’s 75th birthday are lighting up the country. The BJP has kicked off a special 15-day Seva Pakhwada campaign to honor the occasion. This nationwide drive includes blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, and exhibitions that spotlight the central government’s achievements. It’s all about service and community spirit.
On another note, Shinde shared that the Shiv Sena stands fully ready for the upcoming local body elections. He expressed strong confidence in the Mahayuti alliance’s victory. "Shiv Sena works round the clock and is always prepared. We will win the local body elections with a huge margin," Shinde told reporters.
