Farmers to get daytime power by 2027, claims Rajasthan CM

In a big announcement, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that by 2027, farmers in the state will get electricity during the day. This means farmers will no longer just produce food—they’ll also become important energy providers for Rajasthan.

Sharma also assured the public that the government is taking strict action against paper leak mafias and will create 4 lakh government jobs for young people over the next five years. The goal is to ensure job opportunities for Rajasthan’s youth and help them build a brighter future.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sharma said Rajasthan is working on the principles of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas”—meaning everyone’s participation is key to progress. The state is making important steps to become a developed and leading place in India.

Following the ancient wisdom of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s Antyodaya concept, the government is committed to making sure benefits reach even the last person in line. It’s all about inclusive growth and helping those in need.

Recently, Sharma inaugurated the Shri Parshuram Gyanpeeth (Centre for Excellence and Research) on Shipra Path, Mansarovar. Speaking at the event, he emphasized Lord Parshuram’s teachings of truth and justice, and how such values can bring new light and knowledge to society. The institute will promote Sanatan culture and Vedic knowledge and serve as a hub of education, culture, and service.

Sharma also highlighted the government’s efforts to fulfill promises made to the people. Projects like the Ram Jala Setu Link and Yamuna Water Agreement aim to address water needs. The budget supports for the Indira Gandhi Canal and Ganga Canal have been ensured, helping improve water supply across Rajasthan. Water sources have even been enhanced through tunnels and check dams, especially in Udaipur under the Dewas Project.

Another shining example is the Karmabhoomi se Matribhoomi campaign, where migrant Rajasthanis are helping build thousands of water conservation structures in villages, boosting local resources.

On the energy front, Rajasthan is working toward becoming self-reliant. By 2027, farmers will start receiving electricity during the day, making them not just food providers but also energy suppliers. Sharma proudly recalled last year’s Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, which attracted over Rs 35 lakh crore in investments—showing Rajasthan’s economic potential.

Regarding youth, Sharma emphasized that the government cracked down on paper leak mafias immediately after coming to power and is committed to providing 4 lakh government jobs in five years, fulfilling a major promise.

Since 2014, under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, Rajasthan has seen positive changes across many sectors. Campaigns like Swachh Bharat, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, and Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam have raised social awareness and improved lives. The state also planted over 11 crore trees this year alone, making Rajasthan greener and healthier.

The government continues supporting farmers, women, youth, and the poor by increasing grants to cow shelters and focusing on their welfare. Sharma appealed to everyone to actively participate in ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach all needy people.

Many notable leaders and dignitaries, including Sanjay Sharma, Arun Chaturvedi, and Saint Prakash Das Ji Maharaj, joined the event and shared their support for Rajasthan’s progress.

This bold vision and ongoing efforts signal Rajasthan’s journey toward a brighter, sustainable future—where farmers, youth, and communities all thrive together.
