New Delhi – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini launched the Mhari Sadak mobile app today in Panchkula to speed up road repairs and boost public participation in the state’s infrastructure push.

The app will let citizens spot potholes, broken roads or water‑logging and send a photo and exact location to the state’s road‑repair teams. Once a complaint appears on the screen, the responsible official must fix the problem within a set deadline, upload proof of the work and notify the reporter. The goal is to make road maintenance faster, more accountable and completely transparent.

“We want a stronger road network across both rural and urban Haryana,” Saini said. “Roads fuel development, so we’re committed to building them better and faster.”

Mhari Sadak uses GIS technology to map every road in Haryana digitally. Citizens can check real‑time road conditions and see which repairs are underway. The state launched the Regional Road Upgradation Project in Hisar on 21 September, covering 4,227 roads and about 9,410 km at an estimated cost of ₹4,827 crore.

Under the current government, the state has upgraded 43,703 km of roads for ₹28,651 crore, built 2,417 km of new roads for ₹2,534 crore, and laid 2,432 km of rural roads under PMGSY for ₹1,077 crore. Haryana now has 21 national highways approved, 12 of which are finished, and it has laid 1,719 km of national highways this fiscal year—versus 451 km and ₹1,713 crore during the previous decade. The state has also removed 27 toll barriers to ease traffic.

Saini emphasized that the app will be promoted through training sessions in schools, colleges and universities, and that the Haryana AI Mission will train over 50,000 young people in Gurugram and Panchkula.

Public Works Minister Ranbir Gangwa added that the new tool will clarify responsibilities at every level of the road‑repair chain. He said the app will improve road conditions and strengthen public trust in government.

Haryana’s push for faster, tech‑driven road development follows the national focus on roads under PM Narendra Modi’s infrastructure drive, including Bharatmala, Sagarmala and PM GatiShakti. The state’s road‑building record shows that strong roads are a key driver of economic growth and quality of life for its citizens.
