On October 9, Jaipur’s polo team crushed Kanota Polo 8‑2 at the BM Birla Cup in Rajasthan.
The match began early with Padmanabh Singh on a roll. He scored all three of Jaipur’s first‑chuck goals, putting the score at 3‑0 before halftime. Kanota pulled one back in the second chuck when Pratap Singh found the back of the net, cutting the deficit to 3‑1, but Jaipur kept a tight defence and kept the momentum.
Singh exploded again in the third chuck with another hat‑trick, sending the score to 6‑1. His quick passes and powerful shots were a crowd‑pleaser. In the final chuck, Jaipur capped off the weekend by adding two more goals from Lance Watson and Devvrat Singh Jhalamand, while Singh added his seventh of the game. Kanota managed a late goal from Dino Dhankar, but it couldn’t change the outcome.
The 8‑2 win confirms Jaipur Polo’s status as a top contender at the tournament, blending strong teamwork, tactical skill, and the leadership of Padmanabh Singh. The victory showcases Jaipur’s growing dominance in Indian polo and adds another chapter to the team’s storied history.
