Exclusive | Estranged husband of Arkansas mom found slain with twins says he is ‘heartbroken,’ had nothing to do with deaths

Dr. Randall Beallis of Arkansas says he had no part in the deaths of his estranged wife, Charity, and their six‑year‑old twin children. According to his lawyer, the doctor is “heartbroken” that their bodies were discovered at his home during a bitter divorce dispute.
A few months earlier, Beallis had already pleaded guilty to a domestic‑violence charge after choking his wife at their $760,000 Arkansas house near the Oklahoma border. No arrest or indictment has followed for the recent murders.
Law enforcement officers found Charity and the twins on December 3 after a welfare check of the property.
Earlier this year, Charity expressed serious concerns that her husband might harm her and the children, and she asked State Senator Terry Rice for help securing protection—something the senator confirmed in a News 5 interview.
Beallis’s attorney, Michael D. Pierce, has stated that his client is innocent of the killings. He told reporters that Mr. Beallis has cooperated fully with the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office, hoping the investigation will uncover the truth behind Mrs. Beallis’s death and that of the children. The lawyer also noted that Mr. Beallis gave a voluntary interview and provided access to any evidence the sheriff’s office requested.
Pierce explained that a day before the bodies were found, Charity had appeared in court; the judges had awarded Mr. Beallis joint custody of the children. Under the arrangement, the children would spend two weeks with their father and one week with their mother.
At some point around December 3, a tragic event occurred before Mr. Beallis could regain the children from their mother. He was scheduled to receive them again on December 5, but that was not possible.
“The children remained with their mother until they were to be returned to Mr. Randall Beallis on Friday, December 5, 2025,” Pierce said. “He is now heartbroken that the return of his children was taken away from him.”
