Jaipur, Oct 24 – Rajasthan BJP chief Madan Rathore slammed the INDIA coalition this Friday, saying it is built on “power hunger” rather than a clear plan for India’s future. The comment comes just as the party gears up for the Bihar Assembly polls.
Rathore described the alliance as a “mismatched and opportunistic coalition” that pulls together former rivals simply to share seats. “Its only goal is to grab power at any cost,” he said. “Development and public welfare are nowhere on their agenda.” He added that the bloc lacks a concrete roadmap for governance, good policies, or improving everyday life for citizens.
The BJP’s message for voters is that it stands for development‑oriented politics, transparency and trust. “People know the truth,” Rathore said. “They won’t be fooled by these alliances.”
When asked about the INDIA bloc’s choice of a chief ministerial candidate in Bihar, the BJP leader dismissed Tejashwi Yadav as a political gimmick meant to mislead voters. “It’s just a bait to gain power through deceit,” he warned. He said the coalition’s seat‑sharing deals show no principle or policy—only sheer ambition for power.
Rathore also criticized former Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot, accusing him of being a poor strategist. “Gehlot can play politics, but he fails to win elections,” he said. “Wherever the Congress uses him, the BJP benefits. His track record in Gujarat and Maharashtra shows the same pattern.” He predicts that Gehlot’s new role in Bihar will again bring results that favor the BJP.
The Rajasthan BJP leader concluded that the people of Bihar and the country need stability, development and strong governance—qualities he says only the BJP can deliver. “Opportunistic alliances will ultimately fail,” he said, urging voters to keep that in mind as elections loom.
