In Jodhpur, Rajasthan, preparations are underway for a major meeting involving top leaders from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). BJP National President and Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda is set to arrive on September 4th to attend the All India Coordination Meeting of the RSS from September 5 to 7.
This important event at the Lalsagar campus will bring together over 300 officials from 32 RSS-affiliated organizations, including the BJP, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), and Bharatiya Kisan Sangh. Key leaders like RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale, and senior BJP leaders like B.L. Santhosh and V. Satish will participate. The discussions will focus on critical issues facing the nation, upcoming plans for the RSS’s 100th anniversary, and organization strategies.
Ahead of the meeting, there was a brief, 20-minute talk between former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Mohan Bhagwat. Though the details of their chat are not public, insiders suggest they discussed possible changes within the BJP’s organization in Rajasthan and other states. With Nadda, Bhagwat, and Raje all in Jodhpur around the same time, rumors are swirling about potential political developments.
Security is tight at the venue, with drone flights banned and increased police presence to ensure safety. Volunteers and staff have been busy organizing logistics, registration, and session arrangements to make the event smooth.
According to Sunil Ambekar, the RSS spokesperson, the leaders from different affiliated organizations will share their experiences and assessments of the current socio-political situation. The meeting aims to promote national unity, social harmony, security, and effective coordination among the organizations. They will review recent important events, discuss ongoing projects and achievements, and plan future activities, especially related to the upcoming RSS centenary celebrations.
This gathering is expected to set the tone for the RSS and BJP’s strategies in the months ahead. The discussions and decisions made in Jodhpur are likely to influence the political landscape and organizational plans for the near future.
