Anupam Kher wishes Raju Kher: You are the bestest brother in the entire world

Bollywood’s beloved Anupam Kher just shared a super heartfelt birthday tribute to his brother Raju Kher, calling him his "quiet supporter" and the "bestest brother in the entire world." The veteran actor posted this sweet message on Instagram, complete with a nostalgic throwback photo of the two brothers from their younger days. He even added the classic song "Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo" by the late legend Mukesh from the 1966 film Teesri Kasam—a tune that takes them right back to their childhood bonding.
In his touching caption, Anupam gushed, "Happy Birthday #RajuMereBhai! You are the bestest brother in the entire world! My Quiet Supporter! You are solid, very funny! A wonderful son, father and husband!" He didn’t hold back on the fun jabs either, adding, "You are stubborn, adiyal, sometimes irritating too! But selfless and my ROCK! I have put our favourite childhood song here which will always remind us of our bonding together! May God give you all the happiness, long, healthy and happy life! You are my ROCKSTARS!"
Anupam wrapped it up with a warm note: "Rockstars are also those who may not be greatly famous. But totally DEPENDABLE! Bless you and love you my brother! Raju ji ki JAI!" Fans are loving this glimpse into the Kher brothers’ unbreakable bond—it’s the kind of family love that melts hearts.
Raju Kher has carved his own path in Bollywood and TV. You’ve probably seen him in hit films like Ghulam, Jungle, Om Jai Jagadish, Delhi Belly, Shootout At Wadala, Krrish 3, Main Tera Hero, Uunchai, and the recent Patna Shuklla. On the small screen, he’s shone in popular shows such as Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah, Pari Hoon Main, Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi, Beintehaa, and Doli Armaano Ki.
As for Anupam Kher, he’s keeping busy with exciting projects. His latest release is The Bengal Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri. This powerful film dives into the dark history of the 1946 Great Calcutta Killings and Noakhali riots, portraying them as a genocide that’s been hidden from mainstream narratives. It’s a hard-hitting story about suppressed truths in Indian history.
The star-studded cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumar, Simrat Kaur, Anupam Kher, Saswata Chatterjee, Namashi Chakraborty, Rajesh Khera, Puneet Issar, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Sourav Das, and Mohan Kapur. The Bengal Files marks the third and final chapter in Agnihotri’s gripping The Files Trilogy, following The Tashkent Files and The Kashmir Files. If you’re into films that spark important conversations about India’s past, this one’s a must-watch.
