Anurag University Signs MoU with MSN Laboratories

Hyderabad, Telangana: Anurag University just took a big step forward in bridging the gap between classrooms and real-world jobs. The university signed a key Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MSN Laboratories Limited, one of India’s top pharmaceutical companies. This exciting partnership kicks off with a special MSN Labs Bridge Course for 2025-26, aimed at new employees and run by the Department of Chemistry in the School of Engineering.

The launch event started on a high note with an invocation, lamp lighting, and a hearty welcome for guests from both Anurag University and MSN Labs. Dr. Savita Belwal, Head of the Department of Chemistry and the course coordinator, kicked things off by explaining the Self-Directed Teams (SDT) Bridge Course. She highlighted how the program, co-created with MSN Labs, boosts skills, knowledge, and job readiness for fresh hires.

“This MoU with MSN Laboratories shows real industry-academia teamwork at work,” Dr. Belwal shared. “Our Bridge Course goes beyond books—trainees get hands-on training to become confident and ready for pharma jobs. We want academia and industry to keep learning from each other to tackle big challenges in pharmaceuticals.”

The Department of Chemistry will lead the charge here. They’ll design training modules that match industry needs, teach lectures, run lab sessions, and track trainee progress with assessments.

From the industry side, Mr. K. L. N. Murthy, Head HR (API) at MSN Laboratories, added his thoughts: “At MSN, we know teaming up with top schools like Anurag University builds the next generation of pharma experts in India. This partnership smooths the path for our new team members, blending science smarts, practical skills, and problem-solving. Together, we’re gearing up a workforce to handle the pharma industry’s fast changes.”

Top leaders from Anurag University joined in too. Deans from Engineering, Examinations, and Student Affairs, plus Mr. Javid Jamal, Director of Learning & Development, spoke about how academic backing creates pros who shine in the job market.

This deal with MSN Labs is Anurag University’s second big pharma tie-up, building on their push for strong industry-academia links. These efforts focus on giving students and trainees the practical skills, real experience, and boost they need to thrive in pharmaceutical careers.
