Leaders Join Hands to Celebrate PM Modi’s 75th Birthday with Cleanliness Drive and Tributes
On Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla rolled up his sleeves for a special cleanliness drive in Kota, Rajasthan. As part of the Swachhta Abhiyan, Birla swept the streets himself, praising Modi’s lifelong dedication to public service and building a stronger India.
Speaking to , Birla described PM Modi’s journey as one of pure commitment. "He has devoted his entire life to serving people," Birla said. Modi has led India as Prime Minister for 14 years and earlier as Gujarat’s Chief Minister. His focus? Bringing real socio-economic changes with a human touch, uplifting women, youth, the poor, marginalized communities, Dalits, and the oppressed. Schemes like Jal Jeevan Mission for clean drinking water, Ujjwala Yojana for gas connections, free rations under PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, and Swachh Bharat Mission for toilets have given millions a life of dignity.
Birla added that Modi’s sharp vision and strong leadership have turned India into a self-reliant powerhouse and a global player. "His selfless service motivates millions to keep working for society and push the nation to new heights," he noted.
The birthday buzz didn’t stop there. Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan sent warm wishes on Wednesday, highlighting how India is marching towards becoming a developed nation under Modi’s guidance. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote: "Heartiest birthday greetings to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodiJi. Under your visionary leadership, India is making a mark on the global stage and moving steadily towards the goal of a developed nation." He wished Modi a long, healthy life full of service to the motherland.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah called Modi a true symbol of sacrifice and dedication. In his X post, Shah said: "Symbol of sacrifice and dedication, inspiration for crores of countrymen—heartfelt birthday wishes to Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji on his 75th birthday." He praised Modi’s tireless work over five decades for the people’s welfare, calling him a living example of ‘Nation First’ for every Indian.
President Droupadi Murmu also joined the celebrations, extending her best wishes on Modi’s 75th birthday. In her X message, she said: "Heartfelt birthday greetings and best wishes to the Prime Minister of India, Shri @narendramodi ji. By exemplifying the pinnacle of hard work through your extraordinary leadership, you have instilled a culture of achieving great goals in the country."
Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant echoed the sentiments, assuring that Modi’s leadership will keep propelling India ahead. Speaking to reporters in Mumbai on Tuesday, he said: "I give best wishes to PM Narendra Modi on behalf of the Goa state government and the people on the occasion of his birthday. The way infrastructure and human resource development took place during his tenure had never happened before… His leadership will take the country forward."
