Filmmaker Farah Khan posted a short clip of the journey, laughing as she spotted film director Karan Johar on board the ro‑ro vessel. “Hi guys, we’re on the ro‑ro to Alibaug, and look who’s here,” Farah teased. Johar replied with a grin, “Hi, thank you. This is such a once‑in‑a‑lifetime experience.”
The duo joked about the bustling deck, with Johar playfully telling the camera not to spill the secret. Their entourage was completed by 15‑year‑old Navya Nanda, who arrived holding a basket of snacks. “We’re at the ro‑ro, look who’s hanging out,” Farah announced, adding, “Bridgerton’s picnic is happening here.” The trio sampled banana chips, biscuits, and homemade pasta, with Fragrance pursued a sitcom vibe as “no cucumber sandwiches.”
It’s Johar’s first time riding a ferry to Alibaug, while Farah has made the route a regular in her travel routine. The three appear to be headed for a special event: Shah Rukh Khan’s 60th birthday celebration on November 2. The legendary actor is set to mark the milestone at his luxury property in Alibaug, entertaining close friends and family.
With SRK moving to a rented apartment in Bandra, fans will miss the usual Mannat gatherings, but the birthday party promises a star‑studded alternative. Fans can expect photos and videos from the celebrated night, likely streamed live or shared across social media.
