India A seal nail biting win in third One Day to clinch 2-1 series win against Australia A

India A clinched a narrow two‑wicket win over Australia A at Green Park in Kanpur, sealing a 2‑1 victory in the One‑Day series.
The match saw India A chase a daunting 317 targets, backed by a furious 102 from Prabhsimran Singh and solid stands from Shreyas Iyer and Riyan Parag.

India A started well, reaching 262/3 with 35 overs left.
Australia A fought back, taking five wickets for 39 runs to threaten the chase.
But veteran all‑rounder VIPRAJ NIGAM and wicket‑keeper Arshdeep Singh steadied the innings, adding an unbeaten 21‑run ninth‑wicket partnership that saw India A cross the line with 24 balls to spare.

Prabhsimran Singh set the tone, smashing 102 off just 68 balls.
He sent India A to 185/1 after his 68‑ball knock, before he was caught by leg‑spinner Tanveer Sangha in the 20th over.
Shreyas Iyer added 62 off 58 balls, and Riyan Parag followed with 62 off 55, together scoring 117 for the fourth wicket.

Australia A’s bowlers made a strong start, with Arshdeep Singh removing Mackenzie Harvey in the first over and Jake Fraser‑McGurk in the second.
Later over, Harshit Rana also struck, taking the wickets of Harry Dixon and Lachlan Hearne.
Despite the early scare, Australia A managed 144/6 in the opening 21 overs.

Jack Edwards (89) and Liam Scott (73) then delivered a solid partnership for Australia A, adding 152 runs to finish 316/8.
India A’s batting captain Shreyas Iyer and Riyan Parag hit quick runs, but the Australian bowlers, especially Tanveer Sangha, produced a string of wickets at crucial moments.

India A finally posted 317/9, and Australia A fell just one run short on 315/8.
With the final game won by India A, the two‑match series ends in a 2‑1 victory for the Indian side, giving them momentum as they head toward the upcoming tour of Australia.
