Prime Minister Narendra Modi is turning 75, and he’s choosing to celebrate it in a big way with some game-changing initiatives in Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh. On September 17, PM Modi will kick off his special day by visiting the area and rolling out programs that focus on women, health, and jobs.
At a lively public event, PM Modi will release the next instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY). This popular scheme will directly transfer money to the bank accounts of over one million pregnant and lactating mothers. It’s all about boosting maternal health and supporting families across India, making sure moms get the financial help they need during those crucial early months.
To add a warm, personal touch, PM Modi will launch the ‘Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam’ campaign. He’ll personally hand over a sapling to a woman from a local self-help group, inspiring more than 10,000 women to start their own ‘Maa Ki Bagiya’ gardens. These community gardens aren’t just about planting trees—they’re spaces for nurturing the environment, building stronger bonds, and celebrating motherhood while promoting sustainability.
Health is a big focus too. PM Modi will kickstart awareness programs on yoga, Ayurveda, and healthy living to encourage holistic wellness in Madhya Pradesh. Plus, nutrition camps will pop up statewide to spot and treat malnutrition early, helping families stay strong and healthy.
On the economic front, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for India’s first PM Mitra Textile Park in Bhainsola village. Spanning a massive 2,158 acres, this park aims to turn Madhya Pradesh into a major textile hub. By bringing the entire cotton processing chain right into the state, it will cut costs, speed things up, and give farmers better prices for their cotton. Expect big investments pouring in, along with thousands of new jobs that will lift both rural and urban areas.
PM Modi’s 75th birthday isn’t just about cake and candles—it’s a powerful push for women’s empowerment, farmer support, better healthcare, and industrial growth. His visit to Dhar district shows a clear vision: progress that puts people first, with a heart for compassion and a green future.
