Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the birthday wishes for Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday, September 16. In a warm post on X (formerly Twitter), PM Modi praised Dhami’s hard work in driving all-round development in Uttarakhand and empowering the state’s youth. “Best wishes to Uttarakhand CM Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami Ji on his birthday. He is making commendable efforts to ensure all-round development of the state and empower the youth. Praying for his long and healthy life,” Modi wrote.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla joined in, sharing his greetings on X. “Heartfelt birthday greetings and best wishes to the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami Ji. I pray to God for your healthy, joyful life and long life,” Birla posted.
Earlier in the day, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also extended their birthday wishes to Dhami. Amit Shah highlighted Dhami’s contributions to Uttarakhand’s progress under PM Modi’s leadership. “Heartfelt birthday wishes to the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri @pushkardhami ji. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi ji, you are continuously working for the welfare of the poor along with the progress of Devbhoomi. I pray to Baba Kedarnath ji for your healthy, happy, and long life,” Shah said on X.
Yogi Adityanath echoed similar sentiments, focusing on Uttarakhand’s growth. “Heartfelt birthday wishes to the Honorable Chief Minister of the sacred land of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami Ji! May you attain excellent health, a long and glorious life. True to his grounded style, CM Dhami decided to skip any celebrations or formal events on his birthday. According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office, he plans to spend the day in simplicity and service. Dhami believes the best way to mark such occasions is by helping society and those in need.
He will focus on supporting people hit by recent natural disasters in Uttarakhand. “Many families in different parts of the state are facing hardships due to natural disasters. In such times, every section of society should step forward to support them. Every effort can become a source of strength and hope for the affected families,” Dhami said.
