Foden and Bellingham return as Tuchel names England squad for November internationals

London, Nov 7 – England’s new boss, Thomas Tuchel, has dropped a few familiar faces and added a fresh name to the squad for the upcoming November international break. The team will play Serbia first and then Albania.
Key recall news
Phil Foden – The Manchester City midfielder returned after an eight‑month break. He’s in great shape, highlighted by a brace in City’s Champions League win against Borussia Dortmund.
Jude Bellingham – The Madrid star was left out of Tuchel’s October squad, but his dominant form in La Liga earned him an immediate recall. Bellingham is fit and ready to play.
Alex Scott – A 22‑year‑old Bournemouth midfielder earned his first senior call‑up. Scott has already shone for England U19 and U21 squads, winning European titles at both levels.
Other squad changes
- Adam Wharton (Crystal Palace) returns after missing two matches because of injury.
- Anthony Gordon (Newcastle) is fit after a knock against Athletic Club and joins the squad.
- Nick Pope is the new goalkeeper, replacing James Trafford. He joins Jordan Pickford and Dean Henderson.
- Harry Kane remains the sole established centre‑forward in the lineup.
Players left out
Morgan Gibbs‑White, Ruben Loftus‑Cheek, Myles Lewis‑Skellie, Danny Welbeck and Ollie Watkins (injured) are all omitted. A healthy striker lineup relies on Kane’s experience.
Defensive line‑up
John Stones, Reece James, Dan Burn, Marc Guehi, Ezri Konsa, Jarrel Quansah, Djed Spence and Nico O’Reilly guard the back three and four, with O’Reilly noted for his sharp improvement in the Premier League.
The squad (short list)
- Goalkeepers: Dean Henderson, Jordan Pickford, Nick Pope
